Finally! The moment you've all been waiting for: The DVD "Monsieur Cannibale Live at Greve" has been released! It has become a beautiful 2 DVD set which has captured all the Monsieur Cannibale songs to date in 2 different sets. A relaxed seated set on DVD 1 and a swinging, grooving, rockin' set on DVD 2.

April 2008: Press Release: Help Monsieur Cannibale Perform!
Today Monsieur Cannibale has released a press release in which we call in the help from all music lovers in the Netherlands. The last couple of years the internet has been used to promote music and to offer new cd's for free download. But Monsieur Cannibale has come up with a new internet-plan. By setting up diverse websites for diverse venues in the Netherlands (on dutch website hyves.nl) people will be able to sign in at the website of their choise. The reason to sign in in if you'd want to see Monsieur Cannibale live in that particular venue. Once the band has gathered enough people who have let us known they want to see us in that venue by becoming a member of the website, Monsieur Cannibale will contact the programmer of the venue and will arrange a performance. In this way the band will take a big part of the promotion for itself and the contact between band and fans will become more intense. Fans who become members will be rewarded with a live bootleg of the show they have signed in for and the band promises to keep the ticket price as low as possible! So: What are you waiting for? Help us tour in september 2008!

April 2008: Working our asses off
At the moment I'm writing this we're in the middle of a proces: a recording proces to put it right! And I must say things are moving forward quite positively! Without any song written in the beginning of september we started off with a few sketches. And I can say: at this moment we've managed to put together at least 6 songs! Songs of which I (and the rest of the band with me) think this is the best we've done to date! Being in the luxury to rehearse and record in a studio almost every monday we've created some things I've never thought we could! We were able to do this with the help of three master students of the HKU in Hilversum! Jelle, Bart and Marijn are helping us recording and producing the record you are all waiting for :)! We don't have a planning on a release date yet! We will be heading to another studio (in Rotterdam) in december to do some really serious recording. After that we must see how things move on! So no new Monsieur Cannibale record before summer 2008! So all of you have to wait. But I can promise: It will be worth it!
